A. Education - provides members of community with financial training to build essential financial literacy skills, retirement and after life planning, and promote financial well-being
B. Execution – once armed with relevant financial management education, program participants are assisted with implementing asset accumulation techniques such as debt elimination, home ownership, etc
Reader Education - designed to encourage students to continuously develop literacy skills through one-on-one instruction and small group activities
Science/Technology Education - reinforces valuable science and technology-based concepts and teaches hard skills for future career
Computer Literacy is a program that serves to teach computer skills necessary to secure employment, advance in the workplace as well as to effectively utilize computers to support their professional and personal goals, and help navigate in the world of growing technologies.
After School Program - educational enrichment program designed to assist students one-on-one with homework and assignments to boost academic performance services or programs.
Arts – program encourages hands on learning for students to develop creative problem-solving skills and gain exposure to local and world culture
MyLAgardens - Individuals and families can grow gardens in a wide variety of ways and approaches. These approaches can be as simple as leveraging a simple flower pot (hanging, grounded), garden containers, dedicating a portion of the families backyard to supporting community gardens. Provides members of the community with access to resources that instruct on creating revenue generation and entrepreneurship opportunities, and career development
Designed to educate community members about critical health numbers through hands-on instruction by healthcare professionals
Promotes higher education and provides access to post-secondary resources to strengthen economic and social position
4-week boot camp style summer enrichment program designed to sharpen students’ math skills and close learning gaps
Meals are provided all year long through resources like the Louisiana Food Bank. Children and adults are provided meals and hygiene supplies
